Mommy Moments: Summer Plans

So what will you be doing with your kids this summer?

Aside from going to waterparks and swimming pools, one of the main events that we are looking forward to is Nica's Ballet Recital in May.

She has been enrolled in dance class since this January and it's a combo class on Tap Dancing, Ballet, and Gymnastics. She loves it a lot and looks forward to the weekly lessons.

In May, the whole dance school will have a recital. But here are some photos of their weekly practices:

CONGRATULATIONS TO MY DAUGHTER, RAYE!

She just finished with the DISTRICT SPELLING BEE yesterday.

She is in 5th Grade and she competed with 60 students from

 ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE-SCHOOL, AND HIGH SCHOOL!

RAYE WILL BE COMPETING FOR THE

STATE SPELLING BEE CHAMPIONSHIP

THIS MARCH!!!

MOMMY MOMENTS: A NEW BABY!

Raye has literally seen both Joshua and Nica being born.

She was with us inside the Labor & Delivery Room the whole time.

Joshua was a long-awaited baby and we were so excited when he was finally born!

Nica, on the other hand, was an unplanned surprise *wink*.

She is the cutest "accident" we have!

Mommy Moments: New Favorites

What's your kid's latest obsession?

Raye's starting to discover FASHION and she actually chooses nice clothes now without my help. Usually she's happy with just a simple shirt. Now she's starting to love and appreciate how to dress nicely.

The smaller kids, JOSH and NICA, are starting to get obsessed with my cameras.

They love taking photos of each other and also our puppy TOBY :)

They cannot touch my new baby, though! Hahahaha

MOMMY MOMENTS: NEWBORN DAYS

First of all, let me say that my oldest daughter RAYE does not have a lot of newborn photos simply because...I did not own a digital camera 11 years ago hahahahaha.

Point and Shoot lang ako noon and almost all of her photos are in her baby album somewhere...I still have not unpacked some boxes when we moved here in New Mexico a few months ago :

Mommy Moments: Talented Kids

For talented kids, I am going to focus on my daughter, RAYE.

She is 10 years old and she is smart and talented.

Here are some of her achievements:

-Sings at her school choir and yearly school performances

(you can check out her singing here).

-She has won several awards for Art Contests (School and District)

-She won the Spelling Bee Championship (School and District)

-She is the Student Body President

-She has won awards in Math and Science Fair Contests

-She has began reading NOVELS at the age of 6

-She is at 5th Grade and her Comprehension Level is for a 10th Grader (tested every year)

-She is at the Top 10% of Students Comprehensive Exam for her grade (Nationwide)

-All the schools she attended (we keep moving), she is always invited to join the "Gifted and Talented" Program.

I am truly, truly PROUD of her.

It is both our dream for her to attend an Ivy League University when she grows up.

I bought the Mickey and Minnie golf set at the Disney Store last week.

The kids have been having a blast practicing their swings :)
