2010 Resolution

For 2010 I will try to weed out people from my life to keep it DRAMA FREE.

I want to have a peaceful 2010 so I need to get rid of people who surrounds me with their negative vibes.

MOMMY MOMENT: Christmas Moments!

Merry Christmas to each and every one of my blogger friends!

I'm glad I have met such great friends this year...

Here is how we spent Christmas Eve of 2009.

We do not wait for the 25th to open gifts.

We actually eat dinner at christmas eve and then open gifts afterwards...

The kids had so much fun!

Snowy Days

My mom and dad are here visiting us for the holidays.

They live at South Texas--where it's scorching hot almost all year round.

So they definitely enjoyed the snow and we're all hoping for a white christmas :)

Jay's New Bike

Here's Jay's early christmas present, his new Kawasaki bike.
He sold his old Yamaha a few years ago before we left Guam.

He missed riding so much and he often talks about it.
He's very responsible naman, so, even though dangerous talaga mag-bike-- I know he'll be very careful.

I surprised her with a cake at school.

She was kinda embarrassed but she loves it!

Here is her 11th Birthday gift: her very own HP laptop!

(She's a traitor, she didn't want a Mac! Hahahaha)

She has always used my hand-me-down netbook without complaint eventhough it's uber slowww!

Since she has shown us how responsible she is, we surprised her with her own laptop!

Couple's Corner

This week's topic: SHOPPING.


I'll be the first to admit it. I'm very materialistic. Sorry, but it's the truth. I can't imagine being any other way. Although having 3 kids slowed me down a lot on my shopping, I still like to be able to shop for fashion items every now and then.


I like carrying designer bags, I like wearing designer clothes. I want to own the latest gadgets. I want my kids to look nice all the time.


I'm VAIN. Always has been, always will be.


Some people might read this shaking their heads, but, I'm just being truthful. 


My philosophy: enjoy life. 


Let's just say thank god my husband tolerates my craziness.

Ok, it's so weird that blogger did not inform/email me that I have received new comments (which it usually does!)--all week I thought wala dumalaw or nag-comment sa blog ko and it turned out madami na pala nag-comment! I promise to go through each one and return the favor, mga sis! Sorry kung di ako nakadalaw agad sa mga blogs nyo.

Aside from this week being "finals week", nagkasakit pa si Josh! We took him to the hospital yesterday and it turned out he has strep throat! I'm just hoping that the 2 girls won't catch it :( They always play together so it'll be no surprise kapag naghawaan sila! *sigh*

A Day With Mrs. Claus

She did it AGAIN!

Congratulations to my daughter, RAYE, for winning the Spelling Bee again!

She will be representing her new school for the district championship.

The bee was held yesterday morning and even though I was so busy since I have an exam that day, of course I was there to support her.

The Perfect Tree

Last week, we took the kids to pick out the perfect christmas tree.

We had a hard time choosing coz we all want different stuff hahaha but we eventually took home a 6-ft Douglas Fir. We just put it in the roof of my suv and secured it with rope. Thank God it didn't fall off while we were driving home hehehe

Mommy Moments: Talented Kids

For talented kids, I am going to focus on my daughter, RAYE.

She is 10 years old and she is smart and talented.

Here are some of her achievements:

-Sings at her school choir and yearly school performances

(you can check out her singing here).

-She has won several awards for Art Contests (School and District)

-She won the Spelling Bee Championship (School and District)

-She is the Student Body President

-She has won awards in Math and Science Fair Contests

-She has began reading NOVELS at the age of 6

-She is at 5th Grade and her Comprehension Level is for a 10th Grader (tested every year)

-She is at the Top 10% of Students Comprehensive Exam for her grade (Nationwide)

-All the schools she attended (we keep moving), she is always invited to join the "Gifted and Talented" Program.

I am truly, truly PROUD of her.

It is both our dream for her to attend an Ivy League University when she grows up. 
Keep up all the good work, my lovely daughter!

Day before BONIFACIO day so my nickname is actually BON.

If I had been born exactly on November 30, yours truly would be called BONIFACIA.
