Here is how we spent Christmas Eve of 2009.

We do not wait for the 25th to open gifts.

We actually eat dinner at christmas eve and then open gifts afterwards...

Jay's New Bike

Here's Jay's early christmas present, his new Kawasaki bike.
He sold his old Yamaha a few years ago before we left Guam.

He missed riding so much and he often talks about it.
He's very responsible naman, so, even though dangerous talaga mag-bike-- I know he'll be very careful.

She was kinda embarrassed but she loves it!

(She's a traitor, she didn't want a Mac! Hahahaha)

She has always used my hand-me-down netbook without complaint eventhough it's uber slowww!

Since she has shown us how responsible she is, we surprised her with her own laptop!

The Perfect Tree

Last week, we took the kids to pick out the perfect christmas tree.

We had a hard time choosing coz we all want different stuff hahaha but we eventually took home a 6-ft Douglas Fir. We just put it in the roof of my suv and secured it with rope. Thank God it didn't fall off while we were driving home hehehe

My Birthday Lunch

We celebrated my birthday with a lunch at AZUMA. I love the place. The food was awesome!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Gosh am I really 32?

Secret lang natin yan kasi feeling ko 26 lang ako nyahahhahaa

All I really wish for on my birthday is that I stay healthy for a long, long time so I can watch my kids grow up.

Why do I say that? Here's the story...

2 years ago (when Nica was only 3 months old), I almost died. I was rushed to the ER...and went straight to triage. The staff frantically tried to figure out what was wrong with me.

I was barely coherent and I felt like I was floating over my own body..but while the doctors and nurses were working on me, all I could think about were my kids. How are they gonna survive without me? They are so dependent on me, especially Joshua. What about Nica, will she even remember me? She was only 3 months old then.

I really thought I wasn't going to make it and with my last breath (or so I thought!) I asked Jay to make sure the kids will always be okay.

I closed my eyes and I heard Jay saying na I should fight daw...that I was going to survive. I doubted that I was going to make it...but I did!

With God's grace, I did survive. Now I'm still here celebrating my birthday with a family that I love and good friends that I treasure.

Thanks for the most awesome 32 years of my life!!!

*To those who are asking, I actually had a severe kidney infection which led to sepsis (blood poisoning). Most people who gets it actually dies. I'm just glad I survived...*

Time flies by...

Time did fly super fast this year! Imagine in a few weeks it's gonna be my birthday again! Gasp! It felt like I just celebrated a few months ago...has it really been a year already?!
